FWIW, I have a 65" ONN from 2022 (Also <$200) that was barely used and the backlights failed. I was able to replace them myself for around $30, but it was not a fun job.
Hopefully they'll schedule a pickup if you do have to return.

It arrived inside of the original monitor box, well packaged inside of another box. The screen was busted and monitor parts from the inside were rattling.
I'm not trying to be negative here, as some people have been lucky, just sharing my experience. I ended up buying a brand new 24" monitor for $10 more.
I guess you can try your luck, but I would highly recommend buying the new TV for $20 more. Maybe the seller handle a new device shipment differently than open box ones.
