I think it's supposed to reduce compression in your spine by allowing gravity to stretch. But u really don't know.

As an owner of an inversion table (not this one) I can attest to how it can benefit you and give relief.
I can also attest that the worst part about them is where to put them. Folding it flat helps, but they are still large. Just take that into consideration.

Get them used. It's not something you use all the time. Just when you're injured and then you get rid of it to the next injured person. Otherwise they take up too much space and super heavy. I've owned 2 teeter hang ups. One for 75 and the other for 20. I sold them for the same price. You can't give these away.
