Is costco running a new line deal and would it stack?
If you do qualify best to get it from Costco. You will get the connection fee waived and possibly get a Costco cash card.

As usual, first responder pricing won't be eligible since we get marginally better pricing.

I feel like I should drop to a regular account so I can get the free lines.
Came in to check this. Ah well.

I think I'm done after 9 lines…UPS lost the last phone I traded in so I've had to call the last 2 months asking for my $800 credit on the pixel 10 pro deal from a couple of months ago.

Or so I'm saying now. I'll try calling tomorrow and trying to I get another line FOR FREE!

I starter with the simple choice 4 lines promo ages ago. Kept that ever since and just added the free lines.
Wife and 2 kids
Mom
Dad
Brother
Sister in law
Aunt

No free phone. Just the free line pays for itself.

Did the exact same thing with simple choice hears ago. A few free lines, 10 in total, with my parents and a few siblings on the plan.

Meanwhile those of us on the One Plus plan get no free lines ever lol. We even get different trade in values for the same phones as people on other plans now. I worked at Apple for 11 years so I was getting free phones so it wasn't a big deal. Only thing saving me now is I have an iPhone 15 Pro that is still on 17.0. A new jailbreak was just released for it so it's worth quite a bit of money now.

After the 1 year no cancellations period, you can start optimizing your account by removing paid lines or consolidating paid lines into the free lines. AKA trim the fat. Get your monthly bill below $100.

If an account has lines with different levels (i think I've got two different go5g levels) which one does the free line get tiered as, the lowest featured plan?

So a family member has to lose a phone number everyone else knows?

One Plus is not the problem. Are you sure you didn't max out the number of lines for your SOC? If you have an individual SOC, the max number of lines is 1.

Consolidation <> remove. Port out paid line AAA-AAA-AAAA to a temp carrier, paid line is auto cancelled --> port in AAA-AAA-AAAA over free line BBB-BBB-BBBB. Now free line is AAA-AAA-AAAA and you are down 1 paid line. Whole process could be done in an hour, but I recommend over a day or two just to make sure your temp carrier has full control over AAA-AAA-AAAA before porting back to T-mobile.

Some major caveats:
1) You must maintain the same number of lines or more for 1 year since you added any free line promotions. Dropping below the count may result in losing the free line promotion.
2) Your SOC must have a minimum of 2 base paid lines. A few older free line promotions required an extra set of base paid lines, so the min for them is 4 base paid lines. Dropping below this number may result in losing a free line promotion and the free line becoming a base paid line.

How?
And why? What are you doing with the free lines?
Are you getting a free phone with the line?
What is the benefit to 9 lines?
I do like the $120 part though.
I started with 3 lines. I got 5 free lines over the years that I added my brother, his wife and 2 kids and we all split the bill. I got 1 account just sitting there for when I eventually find a wife.

Would I do it again? Absolutely, what if I have a kid one day? What if I want a 2nd line for whatever reason? If it's free, who cares?
