How can I take advantage of this? I haven't "qualified" for a free line in almost 6 years.

Current plan

T-Mobile 1 (One)

2 paid lines = $100

1 free line (2018) 0

Internet 50

One line has insurance 18.xx

My bill is about 170$ a month most times.
The last few times I called and checked they said I wasn't eligible?
I have the same plan but with no internet and insurance and I never qualify as well.

It's possible. I know because I went up to from 8 to a 12-line plan last free line promo. T-Force and get very very lucky and knowledgable rep. If you know what SOC you need that would be a good start.

I have some paid lines on my SC family plan ($10 for additional lines)
If I want to start using a free line instead, should I cancel a paid line now or should I wait until after I've gotten the free line? (Or does it make no difference)?
If you cancel any voice lines within 90 days of a promotion, you must bring back the cancelled voice line first before getting the promotion. If you get a free line promotion, you must maintain the same or greater number of voice lines for 1 year of the free line promotion or risk losing the promotion.

In the past, if you've cancelled a paid line then you wouldn't be eligible for a free line unless you add the previously removed paid line back. And after you do get a free line, you cannot remove any paid lines within 1 year or else you lose the free line promo and it becomes a paid line. So your best bet is to get the free line if you're eligible and then wait a year to cancel a paid line.

edit: I see ouloat posted this same info while I was typing my post.

Start by first finding out what your current plan SOC is. Self service:

1) Login to your T-mobile account on your internet browser. The url after you login will be
Code:
https://www.t-mobile.com/my-account/dashboard
2) Right click, open Inspect for your page inspector. This shows all the data and code behind the webpage, usually hidden from your eyes.
3) Navigate to the network tab to see the data being sent from T-mobile to your browser.
4) Refresh the page F5.
5) In network there will be a list of files, select "account"
6) Change from Headers tab to Preview tab
7) Expand myLine > ratePlan. Your plan details are in there. socCode is the important one.

From what I have seen the last few years. Single lines never get these right? I haven't seen it happen since they initially started doing it. Though they could always change, but I doubt it now.

I think I'm done after 9 lines…UPS lost the last phone I traded in so I've had to call the last 2 months asking for my $800 credit on the pixel 10 pro deal from a couple of months ago.

Or so I'm saying now. I'll try calling tomorrow and trying to I get another line FOR FREE!
it took me 6 months of calling until I finally got mine resolved. mine wasn't even lost in UPS. it was delivered to T-Mobile in Texas but then I never got any text about the trade in being completed. Then a month later i started getting charged full price for the new phone. 6 months of 1 hour phone calls each and it wasn't resolved. They couldn't find the phone and kept telling me it will be resolved in 1-2 business days and I'd be called back. Which never happened. Then I contacted T-Force on X and it was resolved in one attempt.
Don't even bother calling, go straight to T-Force on X.
It seems like the people on the phone are out of the country, probably recently hired and they are trained to lie. The T-Force people on X seem to be the people who have worked at T-Mobile for a long time and actually know everything and are actually helpful.

Does anyone know if these free lines include data? I have some free lines on SC. Some are the same as my regular lines. The last ones came with no data and you had to buy data separately, which was a way to make them not so free.

Code:
"ratePlan": {
            "socCode": "4LNESSPRO",
            "name": "Essentials 4 Line Offer",
            "hasSatelliteService": false,
            "isPromoPlan": false,
            "planType": "TMOONE",
            "cancelLineEndDate": "2025-12-21"
        },
I'm guessing 4LNESSPRO is unlikely to get this promo either...

Does anyone know if there is a way to replace an existing paid TMO line with a free line while keeping the same phone number? If so, what is the easiest and most efficient way? TIA
