There is no clarity yet on which SOCs qualify for this promo. Only the support personnel can check if your account has been segmented or not. End users cannot check (in their account) to see if they are eligible. Typically, during previous promos eligible account holders have seen a banner in T-Life app or received a text message, if they were eligible. If you are not a T-Mobile customer yet, I would recommend you starting with an Insider discount first. Reps at the stores usually have a code to give out, if you are porting into T-Mobile. This gives you a 20% discount on all voice lines, at the account level. Future voice lines would also get this discount. If you don't get the discount at one store, try at a different store or after a few weeks. After you move to T-Mobile, you just have to play the waiting game for these free line promos. Also take advantage of the BOGO free line if you are adding at least 2 lines. I think that you'll need a minimum of 2 paid lines for the BOGO promo as well.
So do I just go in to the store and ask for the insider discount? Also does this apply to all plans?

No Luck. I did just get the 2 most recent free lines.

I sent them a iMessage.

Me - Hello, Just checking if "Loyalty BYOD Dec 2025" is on my account or ID250791 promotion is available for my account?

T-Mobile: I really appreciate you reaching out to us about this matter. While I check on it here, could you please let me know where you found this promotion on your end? Was it through email or messages?

Me: T-Life

T-Mobile: Thank you for waiting. It seems like this promotion is not available on our end. Promotions can indeed vary from month to month for our dear exclusive customers. Could you please send me a screenshot of what you see on your t-life app?

Yes, it applies to all current, and available plans - The "Experience" family of plans. The store rep might insist on you signing up for the Experience more plan. It helps if you are porting over 4 or more lines. The store rep is not obligated to share the insider code. They are officially only supposed to share these insider codes with their friends and family. So, if you bring over enough lines to bump their performance, some reps share their insider code as a thank you. Also, insider codes have an expiry date (before which they need to be used up). I'm not sure if there are any that are currently valid. So, it helps to ask around. Sometimes, the reps at the T-Mobile kiosks inside Costco also give Insider codes. That would be the holy grail. If the promo is still on, I believe you can get $450 cash back per new line that you add.

i was trying to upgrade my pixel 9 pro i got for $200 last year via upgrade deal, and just found out about the change back in summer of 2024 where you can't get rid of the phone or pay it off or the credits will run out, and now i'm annoyed/bummed. really wanted the jade 10 pro
You can have multiple EIP promos on a line. Don't pay the old one off. Just upgrade and trade in a different phone for the 10 pro and either sell the 9 as locked to T-Mobile or keep it until paid off and unlocked, or give it to another user in your account.

You get a auto pay discount for every line you have on the account even if its free. So you end up making money on the free lines.
After adding this free line, I would have a total of 9 lines. Since the Autopay discount maxes out at 8 lines ($40), do you know how much will this free line cost per month?

My plan is like 20 years old. It's called "select choice unlimited TT + D40"

It's a single line and just cuz it's so old I just assume I don't qualify for any promotion like this

What do most people do with a free line? Add one of their kids or tell a friend? What is so great?
I renting those lines fir $30 a month, have 4 of them, thats $120. Amd my bill is $156 and some change (got 2 watches and a tablet) so I pay lil over $30 out of my pocket. Lol.
So this is the benefit of free lines, lol
