Reddit has a rumor [reddit.com] that T-mobile will offer a free line to certain accounts starting tomorrow, Dec 11. Segment will be Loyalty BYOD Dec 2025, promo code ID250791 / SP158. No other info or qualification requirements available at this time.

If this does come through and you are eligible, get it ASAP. T-mobile does not announce end dates of their promotions, so it can end at any time.

I finally saw the promo on my T-life home page, called the # and got the free line. Checked a few times today and saw nothing. Forgot to take a screenshot before calling and now its gone but it was there as soon as I logged in "We're giving you a free line"

I'm on whatever plan the Sprint SERO plan became. I already have 1 free line on the account. On the phone, the rep said it showed as eligible on my account, so she tried to walk me through adding a line, but it only showed paid options. I stayed on hold for about 30 minutes while she spoke to people on her end and they came back and said despite it saying it was offered to me, they couldn't apply it.

if i get the free line, can i transfer one of my paid lines the free line and cancel the paid one?

just chatted with tlife in the app and was told that you must not have more than two free lines to be able to take advantage of this free line promotion. As I have four paid and four free, I am not eligible.

It showed up for me in tlife. I called the number listed, they confirmed I qualified, said I was getting it.

However, no new number of showing up in my tlife account's line list.

How long does it take to show up in my account?

I'm with T-mobile for 23 years and have a simple choice plan. I once again didn't qualify. We qualified for a free line about 3 years ago and then got the bogo lines 1 year ago. Haven't qualified for a stand-alone free line since the one we got in 2022. Never get free flagship phones either. I'm ready to look elsewhere.

I was on SC forever. I worked with T-Force reps to migrate my account from SC to Magenta and they were able to get it done without increasing my costs. I lost a free hotspot and something else, but overall I was happy and it worked out.

well, technically t-mobile does not need to know. if you trade the 9 and google takes it locked then it won't show up any longer on your t-mobile account, but as long as you pay your monthly bill you will still get the credits for it. You just CANNOT pay it off. Technically, there is a little risk involved but let's just say it worked fine for me and others so far. If you are already on then 10+ bill credit you could just do the swap at the google store and likely get an unlocked pixel 10 from them, right?
