Not sure I see the need---putting a dot of hot glue on the end of the next stick and just attaching it as the current one starts to run out has always worked well for me. Maybe other folks are using their hot glue guns in more extreme situations though! 😂

I also didn't think about it and haven't seen it before, looks useful because the hot glue sticks are use up in no time.
