Buying from Amazon it is a legit concern even if the item is shipped and sold by Amazon. If Amazon oversells the product they have on hand they will ship 3rd party items of the same sku and pay the 3rd party. So it is possible you get sent an item from a 3rd party even if buying items shipped and sold by Amazon.

Yeah, there's less chances of them being used or swapped for fakes when ordering from Walmart lol

It's been a worry when it comes to Amazon on any big ticket item like this for years now

It will further go down a bit more up to $180 by end of next month or sooner. Why it didn't go down sooner, they want to clear the old stock of Pro 2.

Nothing credible but it seems to me the price dropping this fast this far before Christmas, I can't imagine the price being the same $199 for the next 2+ weeks. The price is dropping because each retailer is trying to out do each other. The consumer should make a good attempt to hit the bottom but I would settle for $179 seems reasonable to me.
Cool, thanks for the insight.

I assume these have the hearing aid feature like the pro 2s?

Has anyone tried the hearing aid feature for moderate hearing loss?

I don't trust amazon anymore. Twice now they shipped me a bootleg product when buying new.

Looking at the deal history... was this really $171 at one point back on November 28?

Not even remotely close to being true. Stop spreading conspiracy theories!
It absolutely is possible, you just don't know it. Not surprised you are unaware since this kind of thing doesn't happen often because it's not routine. I'll spare you to details and I won't argue with you because you clearly wouldn't understand. Not every single item "shipped and sold by Amazon" arrives from an Amazon warehouse or on an Amazon truck.

I'll ask, why do you think it would be better for the customer and for Amazon to cancel an order because Amazon.com doesn't own the product instead of shipping the exact same product from a different seller as long as the product is identical...and of course, it's none of your business how Amazon accounts for this or pays for it or settles it; they just support it with the customer. I *want* them to do that, it's good for business and it's the smart thing to do.

I could tell the difference, in terms of noise canceling, audio quality, and the fact that they don't fall out of my ears anymore.
Pro2s fell out of your ear?

Everyone is different, of course, but the Pro 2s are the best fitting I have ever had.

Darn it, I just opened my pro 3's I ordered from Costco today too for $30 more! At least I got the 2 year apple care for free I guess...

Apple products that are new are sealed and you can tell if something has been opened. At least I can. If you get something that open, send it right back.

Are these not selling? It took years for the Airpods Pro 2s to drop below $200.

Here's a trick I've learned. Order the Airpods from Amazon, return your order from Costco with the new, unopened Airpods, and now you've saved $30.

Same goes for Walmart, and now same goes for Best Buy as they are aggressively pushing 3rd party sellers. Looks like if you want a 100% genuine Apple product it's going to have to be from the Apple Store or Apple.com or a trusted site like PC Richard/NewEgg
