They're back in stock, probably not for long. It's a slightly higher price than last time I posted this deal, but it's still by far the cheapest I've seen Blue/Expert capsules for quite awhile.

I just received my order yesterday, and for reference, the manufactured date on the box is listed as 10/9/25, and the best by date is 3/30/27.

Thanks OP. In for 2 boxes.

For those without a Lavazza pod machine, there are other Lavazza coffee products on clearance:

"Blue" pods are for Lavazza's proprietary espresso machines (like their own Keurigs, but these pods don't work with Keurig machines.) "Gold" "Selection" is the variety of coffee. "2" means it's a doubleshot of espresso, but I think it's actually 8 grams of espresso in the pod vs 5 grams in a single shot pod, iirc. Hope that helps!

I appreciate the clarification. I will say though, that 8 grams in 36g out is a criminal ratio for any proper espresso - but if it tastes good, they must be using some kind of sorcery at Lavazza

Regular pods are 8g, "2" pods are 11g. 2 pods are supposed to be double shots, but they are really just larger than single. Technically speaking 14g would be a double shot. That said, I always buy the larger 2 pods.

As far as Coffee Pods go... Lavazza Blue are the best and the Gold is the best of Lavazza Blue. In my opinion. Sorcery for sure!!!

The pods that are 5g are actually Nespresso Originaline. The better Nespresso pods (Starbucks, Peets, Illy, etc.) are usually 5.7g, but most Nespresso Originaline pods are 5g. Lavazza Blue are 8g single and 11g "2" or double.

As far as 8g being criminal for a 36ml shot I would agree, if you're making a 36ml shot from 8g. The correct amount of coffee for a single shot of traditional Italian espresso is 7g for 25ml of espresso. People can make shots as strong or as weak as they want as it comes down to personal preference, but the parameters for Certified Italian Espresso have been set by the Italian Espresso National Institute. There's a very informative brochure created by them https://www.espressoitaliano.org/..._hq_en.pdf

I own both, the Lavazza Blue and the Nespresso Original machines. Lavazza is very-very good, but IMO nothing beats Nespresso taste, as far as caps go. Keurig is not in the same league. Even Nespresso Virtuo is not close to the Original. Not sure about other cap machines.

The above price for those Gold doubles is quite good.
