The Nvidia price equivalent card is a 5050. I'd take the B580 any day over the 5050. B580 is faster and has 12gb VRAM compared to 8gb on the 5050.
5060 might have more raw power but it's limited to 8gb VRAM which can cause issues on some games. Still costs more than a B580.
Would I take a 5060TI over this? Sure but it's over $100 more.

- ✅ **Excellent for GPU effects** in **DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, and After Effects**, nearly matching the more expensive RTX 4070.
- ✅ **Fast hardware encoding** with strong **AV1, H.265, and H.264 support**, making it ideal for quick exports and 4K transcoding.
- ✅ **12GB VRAM** helps with 4K timelines and multi-layer projects, reducing lag during playback and rendering.
- ⚠️ **Inconsistent performance with LongGOP codecs** (H.264/HEVC), sometimes excelling and sometimes underperforming—likely due to driver issues.
- ❌ **Not recommended for RAW video workflows or GPU ray-tracing rendering** (e.g., Blender Cycles), where NVIDIA GPUs with CUDA/OptiX still dominate.
Overall, it's a **strong budget-friendly choice for editors focused on effects, color grading, and fast exports**, but **verify driver compatibility** with your specific software and plugins.

RX9070XT should be delivered Monday though. Unless my fellow workers lose it between Jacksonville and here. Still the possibility of it being damaged on it's journey across the country though
