They have screwed this product completely. Added a bunch of fees. What used to be $30 a year is now $45 or so with fees.. Buyer beware

My plan activated in middle February a few years ago and kept renewing. I didn't realize last year they renewed it in January, taking away a month. And also the fees too they added. But at least this plan doesn't have the fee unless it renews later.

If I order how do you select the network - T-Mobile - AT&T or Verizon ? do you do that later ?
You probably cannot select any other network. The previous $30 plan was fixed on T-Mobile, and this one appears to be fixed on AT&T. At this cost, it takes a special wholesale deal to enable it, so they limit it to whichever network has been the most cooperative on pricing for the plan.

Just found the answer: $5 option: 1 GB of 5G data $10 option: 5 GB of 5G data The credit does not roll over cycle to cycle.

think my galaxy watch line uses this. renewal had been bumped to 40+ per year. but believe mine uses tmobile so i assume this cannot be used to extend my existing line? not sure att would work and the number would transfer, though i don't need to keep the number.

I'm also on its old plan GSMT currently. If I get this new plan, I will just remove the old SIM card, insert the new one, and start over with a new phone number with AT&T instead when my current plan expires in 01/2026, right?

Thanks.

Wow its back! But i changed to helium free plan
This could be a combo option to work with Helium. Phone/text with redpocket and data with Helium. Seems extreme to save a few bucks over the $5/month helium addon for unlimited phone/text but it could work though.

Wow, it's back. They must've lost too many customers with all the fee nickel and diming the past year or so.

you mean it was $30 for a year before, then increased second year?
