Been using Quest3 for a year. I'd say 512GB is a must. Even with this size I find myself constantly having to delete games in order to play new ones. Sometimes you'd need that storage space to record video too.

The memory cannot be expanded. I agree with the other poster, 512GB is definitely the way to go. Developers are finally trying to get the most out of the Quest 3 specs, and the file sizes are increasing.
Also, if anyone wants a hardware referral link, DM me, and I can send one. You can buy a new Quest anywhere, and as long as you use my referral link before you register/set up your new headset, we will both get $60 in Meta Store (the app store for the Quest) credit.

I'll add that I agree IF you're going to be using it entirely standalone. Many of us use it as a wireless PCVR headset, of which even the base storage is entirely overkill.
