Bought this a few weeks ago when it was on a similar sale. I absolutely love it. Really nice to have something this compact and flexible. I have a drill and impact driver and this complements them both.

Awesome, I almost bought just the 850, but this will be much better for me. Probably just keep the flexvolt, and will now have 2 fast chargers.

Just checking that my understanding is correct - if I take advantage of this offer, the cost the charger and battery ($329) are split on to this BOGO "free" item ($142) and if you return the battery/charger, you're getting $187 ($329-$142) back? Has anyone had trouble doing this hack before and is it better to do in store or online? Cheers!

I put this drill and the 9ah battery in cart and it's showing $498. What am I doing wrong? There is no link on either item that says click for BOGO. Just a banner in the product image that says, "Free with purchase". If I'm having an issue, I'm sure someone else is as well.

I'm doing this from my android via web browser if that means anything.

You need the battery with the charger to qualify:

The banner says "buy one, get one".

So it's not working in browser or app until you find the BOGO deal and click (if available) "shop this deal" under the product images.
And, whoever thumbed down my comment doesn't understand we live in a world where we all are connecting to a website that has to accommodate multiple devices as well as different browsers. Don't be a dush (intentionally misspelled) for Christmas. Help out or sit down and stay quiet.

Wonder how powerful these are?

I had a Craftsman 'Bolt-On' on set that was similar to this. While the idea was nifty, the tools were extremely low powered/low torqued.

You may have trouble returning just one of a BOGO offer. I have had them refuse in the past.

The price breaks down to $187.27 for the battery and charger starter kit + $141.73 for the drill driver = $329 for both, in case that wasn't clear.

i had this tool and returned it.
it is not more compact than my 850 driver (not even close), and you should really only buy this if you have a specific use for the attachments or the clutch settings.
the 850 + drill and two batteries goes on sale for $160; this is hard to justify at $142.

This has kind of been my thought as well . I wanted to get it just because but i really don't have a specific use for it.
