There was a SD user that said $10 per roll of pla was too much. Buy all i ever see is $10 or way more. I need to fill out my stock with some colors. Orange, green, pink, brown, yellow, purple. Any ideas?

$10 is about as good as it gets for an average deal price. You might be able to get a better deal on one of those 10k packs (10 rolls or like through AliExpress direct from China) say like around $8 a spool, but i buy enough filament to know $10 is a buy. For standard colors and not any kind of specialty stuff (or rarer colors) I usually dont spend more than $13 a spool, plus with these you get reusable spools though oddly enough I dont really ever see their refills cheaper than getting it with the spool which is weird so I have a bunch of these just stacking up.

This is PLA+ so a little more expensive than the common gray deals we see for regular PLA or petg, often from AliExpress. There are pretty often deals for 10 spools for around ~$60 that you can get decent color spreads.

From what I see, Sunlu PLA+ can be had for ~$10 per roll. I haven't seen anything under for different colors for less than that recently. Not sure what other brands other people were saying when they can get them under$10

We typically ignore that person. Or downvote them to the phantom zone.

I'm "pretty sure" the statement was a slickdeal would need to be for PLA bundles to be less then $10/spool. In bundles, PLA should be around $8/spool to be slick (though that amount is probably going down).

The only people who complain about letting people know that... are the people who post bundles where a PLA spool is more then $10/spool. Seems you should not have an opinion on their post (correct or otherwise). They are perhaps too sensitive.

There have been a lot of recent posts where 10 spools of PLA are around $65. That is $6.50 per spool. Yes... $10+ per spools in bundles is not a slickdeal.

Yes about $10+. Only PETG is slightly cheaper. I already have PETG. Matte PLA is more expensive. Wood PLA is even more expensive.

Buy refills and print a spool or two, you will save a lot of money. I just got 4 rolls of elegoo pla matte for 38 last week. My next big pla order will probably be from aliexpress

$10 per roll is a good deal for tier two filament or above (which Sunlu is). They're probably buying on temu or AliExpress, and it's likely kingroon or jayo (tier 3). Never tried either (I don't print enough for saving under $10/roll to make much of a difference), but lots of success combined with quality control issues is what I usually read.

Just a heads up that the dimensions are advertised as the new spool (gen 3) which replicate Bambu spools, but there's no guarantee you'll get the gen 3 spool. For those that like to use refills or swap out their cardboard spools from other manufacturers, this makes that impossible and the gen 2 spool as more of a single-use piece. Also, more specifically for us AMS Lite users, you would need to print a spool hub adapter for the gen 2 spools.

Still good filament for the price.

Am I expecting too much to find pla in purple, orange, yellow, brown, pink, and green for 10 bucks or less a roll? Is there a good way to find it? Every thing I click on doesn't have it. (Sorry i feel like I am missing some trick).

I have seen Sunlu on aliexpress regularly around $8 roll when you add in coupons. That also assumes you are buying either 5 or 10 roll packs. They do have a number of options with various color spreads to pick from. If you go with Jayo which is also made by Sunlu, although it comes on the old spool, you can get into $6 a roll more regularly.
