Make sure you get sizing correct because they make you pay for return shipping.

I got this same jacket from the last deal just a few weeks ago. It's got nice design and features of a much more expensive jacket. But once I wear it in the mild weather in CA, I can tell its insulation is inadequate and nowhere comparable even to a mid range ($50-$60) jacket. This sale price is probably not far off from where the manufacturer positions it to be. Honestly, for a jacket that looks and feels this thick, I do not expect myself having to add more mid layers in the CA's 40-50 degree weather. The one big factor is likely the wind and this jacket's design not able to effectively block it out.

These are good value, but this was never, ever a $125 coat

Anyone have input on the larger sizes? Have 32Degrees finally figured out that size doesn't only mean "around" but also "length"?
Got a bunch of shirts for me and my kid, 3XL and L were both the same length, 3X was just wider.

Not sure about this specific jacket, but it's a good brand for the price on sale generally.

600 fill power of "cloudfill" means there is no chance you're wearing this in 5-10* weather if this is what you want as an outer layer, even if you're being semi-active (walking outside not sitting at a baseball game or something.).
I've never seen people play a baseball game at 5 degrees. The 7th inning stretch is probably more to see if you can still stand up.

I pulled the trigger 2 days ago and ordered this jacket in Eclipse color. I used the SHIP24 code for free shipping. Before that, I tried a few more expensive jackets from Columbia, Marmot, and Rab, but ended up returning all of them because the sizing was off or the quality didn't justify the price. At this price point, I figured there's not much to lose by giving this one a shot.
Does anyone here have experience with this jacket? How well does it handle winter temps around 5–10°F?
I bought this about a month ago for the same price. It seems well constructed especially for the price. It's not too bulky or too tight. Reasonably warm in 5-10F weather and it has enough space to layer up with a sweater. I do wish the pockets had zippers instead of a single button though. Upside is no velcro so the velcro edges won't rip into the jacket when your arms rub against them. That was an issue with the previous Eddie Bauer coat I owned.

Is this a 50$ coat realistically?
No. $25 maybe.

They have a fleece lined one for $5 more that appears warmer, and an ultra light down jacket (only 580 fillpower though) for $30 also.
"fillpower" is completely bogus here. That refers to down insulation. This has cheap polyester fill.

This one has real down insulation. I own one

SLICK24 works for free shipping for this as well.

Best value in warm jackets. Super warm, looks great, fits great and durable. I wear it as my main riding jacket for motorcycling. So impressed I bought four other jackets.

I have this jacket, don't recommend. one time I got on the bus wearing this and as soon as I sat down there was a bunch of girls laughing in the back. then it got real quiet and one of them said "ok marshmallow man" and then the whole bus started cracking up at me. smh haven't worn it since.

Dont buy this jacket. The material is cheap and the zipper will break on you. I got the same one about 2 years ago.
