No but after using one that I bought in the summer not really knowing much about these types of screen I can tell you what I would get next time. I'll get one that
- software can get updated
-Let you either install apps or that comes with the apps you use the most.
-It has auto brightness and the screen gets really dim.
-I will not pay more for one with a built in dash cam
-One with at least a 10 inch screen with a nice display that has no blue tint.

I don't recommend these car play screens with such small displays. 7.2" is waaay too small for a screen that will be sitting about two feet away from your face while driving. Get one with 9" or 10" screen instead, they sometimes go for $50-$55.

Is there any specific one you recommend?

I'd get a real stereo with AA/carplay instead of this and pay for install. Don't even know if this thing can hook up to your factory speakers.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dual-E...063930880?
I have a similar one and it's fine and much better than one in the OP. There's probably better that's just one a cheap brand I have personal experience with.
Also I have no issue with a smaller screen one in my rental cars anyway.

It is better to have one in your dash, but the cost is well beyond the unit. Installation is not cheap. Plus, the extra equipment required to make the steering wheel controls on my wife's car work with a new stereo were about $250. We have a very nice CarPlay receiver sitting on a shelf, but chose one of these because of all of those costs. Hooked up with Bluetooth, her steering wheel controls still work. I wanted my wife to just replace the full stereo, but this portable unit is surprisingly nice. It has been more reliable than the factory CarPlay in my car.
For my daughter's older vehicle, we replaced the stereo with a CarPlay stereo. It didn't have a backup camera, so installing the backup would have cost about as much as installing a new stereo with backup camera. Also, the older car didn't need fancy equipment for steering wheel controls.

Normal double DIN stereos from major manufacturers are only 7".
I bought a 10" carplay/AA unit from Amazon a few months ago. But the 10" is long, not tall. It was only a couple inches longer than my phone put in landscape mode.

I mean, if you got an outlet on the lawn mower it will power on. But what are you going to do with it from there?

The apps are on your phone. It's not installed on this.
