No it is not, the 5060 Ti is 8GB, not 16GB.

Negative, you can drop in the last am5 cpu in there and 6060ti or 6070ti with hopefully lower or similar wattage and your good to go . Very upgradeable .

This is an amazing deal as of now. RAM itself is $300, GPU $350, CPU $240. Rest of everything (SSD + Motherboard + PSU + coolers + fans + warranty) are free......

If you need a PC this year, this is the one to get. The no water cooling is most appreciated.

I have the CyberPower deal for $1699 (9800X3d, 5070 TI, 32GB Memory, 2 TB SSD) still sitting in the box. Would this work to play LoL and PoE/PoE2 or at almost double the price, $800 more, would the 9800X3D build be worth it?

9800X3D CPU is good for gaming due to larger L3 cache on the X3D, but for LoL and PoE2 I think this $899 PC is good enough for your needs. You can upgrade your CPU or GPU later on if needed, but with 9800x3d and RTX 5070 Ti 16GB you should be futureproof for years.

The Ryzen 8700f is an interesting animal, it's a monolithic "mobile" style Ryzen 7 8700g APU with the graphics section cut off vs the traditional chiplet design like the 9700/7700(x) series. As such, it comes with the downsides of most of the "G" series and other monolithic AMD chips, notably only 16 mb (vs 32) of cache, lower boost clocks and 4 fewer (and 4.0 vs 5.0) PCIe lanes. It will game but it's likely going to have more issues with inconsistent 1% lows / microstutters, etc.. At least it's not one of the HP 16L models that can ONLY support the Ryzen 8xxx series APU's, you can at least upgrade this down the road.

Objectively it's got one of the worst desktop processors available for the desktop AM5 platform available, and an also "meh" 8 gb Nvidia graphics card with significant CPU driver overhead which does negatively impact performance as well. At least you get DLSS support and 32 gb of RAM? It's not a great config outside of the DRAM pricing bubble, these should be a $699 Black Friday budget gaming PCs. But here we are, in the current market it's currently the best of what's out there if you are trying to source a gaming computer before Christmas '25.

My son wants his first PC. Trying to do my research but PC get pricey.

I was just about to buy the one at Costco MSI Codex R2 Gaming Desktop – Intel Core Ultra 7 265 - NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 8GB – Windows 11 Home - 32GB RAM – 2TB SSD
For $1,200.

Is intel 7 better than ryzen 7?

This one seems like a better deal.
Just buying from Walmart compare to Costco that has easy returns is my last choice

After reading decided to go with
iBUYPOWER Element Gaming PC Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB - Windows 11 Home - 32GB RAM - 2TB SSD
$1500

Wish me luck!! 😅👌
