A few differences. The operun pro 2 has:

Richer sound. Latest conduction tech.
Double the battery life. 12 hours vs 6 hours.
A 5 minute quick charge feature that is not available on older models.

I own 3 different shokz, and the best part about this one is the USB c charging. No dedicated charger.

Thanks!, in for one. I picked it up at Target who has the same price right now. I've been wanting to try these open ear bone conduction things for quite a while, I am not a fan of buds.

I see many ppl complain about no USB-C charging and is it that bad? I find the magnetic charging cable for my OpenRun Pro v1 to be very good where the magnets give that assurance and don't need to "push in" a USB-C cable. For something this small, I can see ppl use random usb-C cables and some are longer, some are slightly bigger/smaller so over time, it could mess up the port IMO vs the magnetic charger just works. It's not crappy like old Samsung contact chargers or Fitbits....I hated those proprietary ones.

My smart watch is the one device I have that doesn't have USB-C and it's annoying to have to have a dedicated charging spot for it, or carry an extra cable just for one device.

Just FYI, OpenMove is the entry level tier of Shokz bone conducting headphones. This model only comes in one size (which should be big enough for all head sizes), while the higher end models come in 2 sizes.
The main advantages of these open ear headphones is that they don't cover your ear canals, so you can hear your surroundings; this is also good for those who don't want to stuff earbuds into their ear canals. I also find that this style of open ear headphones (as opposed to the earbud ones) has a much better tendency of staying put when running.
The disadvantages are that these are not for audiophiles. The sounds won't be crystal clear, but that's a compromise I'm personally willing to make.

Having owned both the Openmove and Open Run (not Pro), the sound is a bit better/more defined when using the Open Run. The Open Run could also go to a higher volume before the vibration starts to bother me. The convenience of charging with a USB-C, and not a proprietary charger, is a pro on the Openmove side. The biggest difference, and this may vary by user, is that the Openmove's weight was not symmetrical. The left side was a tad bit heavier than the right and it would start to cause me pain in my left ear when worn for over half an hour. I don't have that problem with the Open Run. I'll also note that the Openmove lasted me just over two years. One day it just stopped turning on. I have about a year on my Open Run and so far so good. Observations on bone conduction audio: I mostly use these for listening to podcasts while trail running and they work great for that. But in louder conditions (road running, driving, etc) listening to anything spoken-word is a crap shoot. If there is high traffic or a loud car drives by (or you're the one driving the loud car), you may or may not miss something important to the plot-line. Using it for background music is fine if you're not picky about the lack of bass. Using them around the office or while out and about is great for people like me who feel uncomfortable having conversations while something is in your ear.

FYI, bought these for the same price almost a year ago. I eventually gave these to my Dad and bought the OpenRuns on sale.
