It's an ad. But perhaps this offsets the National Geographic Kids, Highlights and The Week?

Wondering why they're presenting just a single age range? We just got this quarter's issues (Jan-Mar 2026) and there remains subtle differences between the two copies we've received as there are normally two age range options for which you can select (so my two boys are getting a targeted magazine). The magazines are externally identical save for the following changes:
Pages 6-7:
  • Older: Wicked promotion with party invitation activity
  • Younger: Sonic the Hedgehog activity, Gabby's Dollhouse activity, Spidey and his Amazing Friends activities
Center poster:
  • Older: Ninjago
  • Younger: Olaf from Frozen
Pages 20-21:
  • Older: Harry Potter activities
  • Younger: Friends activities "Triple Jump Challenge"
Pages 26-27:
  • Older:Friends activity "Home Sweet Home"
  • Younger: Dreamzz activity, Animal Crossing activity, Disney activity
The magazine for the older child also included a survey form insert omitted from the magazine for the younger child.

Perhaps most surprising to me is that these changes weren't made to simply allow for replacing a single/minimum number of sheet(s) in the magazine. Rather, these distinctions were on sheets where the opposite side might be shared.

Good luck!
Jon
