Walmart's Great Value baking soda is always under a dollar and typically around 90 cents for 16oz.

This is probably better quality than store brand baking sodas, but I can get the Arm and Hammer Value Pack (4lb) at Fred Meyer for $4.29.

I never found one pound ones on shelf. So I bought a 5lb one coming up barely under a dollar per pound in my area. I used to buy from DT for 59c, but they have gotten rogue and jacked up the price to 1.25 possibly higher now. I am getting this one for 90c with ss, a name brand, so all good.
