I've been looking for a cheap driver to keep in the closet; this will work out perfectly.

No store in Phoenix actually has it. It showed as in stock, and I even called to confirm, but when I went there they said the inventory wasn't updated. Turns out no other store in Phoenix has any left either.

Only one or two tools showing up in my store, I went to the store and only found one up above the section on the Overstock shelving., later I ordered pieces online that it said was there, which apparently triggered a search, and when I came back they had a lot sitting out. I got a reciprocating saw, a circular saw, and a hammer drill. The only other tool I really want now is the mid torque impact in the line, and that's most everything I need.

I hope one day they sell a battery bigger than 5.0 amp though, and then I'm going to pick that up and be set on power tools.

These are very good tools,I have the Skil PWR 20 3/8 drive impact driver and it my go to tool in shop & yes I have Milwaukee but find the Skil is light & gets the job done. Also they have 5yr warranty on driver, battery& charger. I don't consider this a cheap driver its a quality tool for low price.

Today I tried to turn a large screw with the hammer drill, a buddy's Dewalt drill could easily do it, but mine just froze up and shut off anytime I tried. I guess you really get what you pay for here even on clearance.

Can you mix and match the 20v and 12v batteries with the 20v or 12v power tools?

That's one of the things that makes me hesitant about this battery eco system. None of the 4-5 Ah batteries are available at an actual store (online only). If retailers don't see a reason to stock these onsite, how much longer until the platform is discontinued and your forced to buy cheap refurb knockoffs?
