I am aware that you can resell them. Still a hard pass for me.

A go for me better than a game on a card . Games load faster on switch 2 on internal and about 30-40% faster . You do know you can sell these too unlike downloaded
There could be a day that even if you have the card, it will no longer be available to download. But if it was a true physical, there would be no problem. Also a hard pass for me.

To each their own. Wii was released in 2006 and you can still redownload your old purchases though, so Nintendo (even with all their faults as of late) has been pretty good about keeping your digital purchases available with 19+ years and counting. I'll likely be dead and gone when Switch 2 downloads are no longer available if they keep up their status quo going forward. Also, this isn't a graphically intensive game, so if potential game preservation is an issue for you, the OG Switch version is the full game on a cart. Finally, it's possible to emulate a Switch on a PC now, so 20 years from now I imagine that's the way we will be playing our Switch library because the hardware to run it on will be more likely to die in a 20-40 year time frame than the game's files being unavailable for download, and especially so for this game since this game has zero motion controls.

Works for me. I sell these when I'm done. Unsure about the resale market though.
