I had a great set from Costco with silicone bottoms and lids that I got rid of when I moved a few years ago, still kicking myself because they haven't carried those old ones in at least a year and now I don't think they'll every get them back.

sams and costco usually have sets that have silicone covered bottoms for same price or slightly higher. thicker too.
this has never, ever sold for $100

Yes, silicone bottom and matching lids are great. That deal at Costco was great at $20 (or maybe $25). Great product. Bought similar YEARS ago at Sam's. Wolfgang Puck name on that one.

Just make sure you hand-wash very thoroughly the first time, especially under the top lip. Need to remove the polishing compound!
