120hz screen. RGB keyboard. There are a lot of games in the Google Play store that would probably play okay on this. The 8 gigs of RAM kind of worry me but the games have been already updated for low ram so it should be okay in my opinion.

The idea is that it has an RGB keyboard, Wifi 6e, 120Hz 1440p display, and wired ethernet jack (super rare these days) so you can use Nvidia Geforce Now at 120hz. From a cost/value perspective, if you just want to play games, it was supposed to be a low upfront cost alternative.

It's $270. I don't trust refurb. They normally do zero to refurb them so you don't know if you are getting one someone returned because it they didn't like the keyboard and used less than a day, or one that is defective return after a year use. The screen seems to be the strong part of this. Ram is lacking and it isn't a Gaming laptop, there is no gaming gpu inside! It is the first gen core cpu and lower one. I got this cpu for $300 new at Walmart with a worse screen but 16gb ram last month so I'd consider it at $214 but not $270 that it's at now. IDK where these upvotes come from.

I missed that it's a chromebook. So there is a better chance someone bought it as a real gaming laptop and promptly return it so you can get a near new item.

When I tried to explain to my elderly father he didn't need a $2000 gaming computer, he said I was wrong and he needed that. I said you never play FPS or action games and don't even have them loaded. His answer, I might. Having no clue how to play them nor any interest. He said AND, I PLAY SOLITARE EVERY SINGLE DAY!

I was able to purchase the Chromebook this morning at the listed $214.39 price with the coupon and they cancelled this afternoon. They apologized for an error with the listing and then provided a link back to the same item with an inflated price. Very frustrating...
