This or the skytech build with the 5070 and 1tb storage? Can't decide.
I dont care about ray tracing, but I hate amd driver software. Do I bother with the 9070xt?

I think you'll want a 5070 Ti which is more comparable to this card. 5070 would be a step down.

I switched from 6-series AMD to nvidia. I can't speak for the 9-series AMD, but I'm happy so far with nvidia. Nvidia seems like it's more often supported in games, but I don't have any real numbers behind that. And there were some clunkiness in the Adrenalin software I didn't like.

Yea I usually build my own pcs, but not near a microcenter anymore and with price issues, grabbing a prebuilt for my kids seems like a no brainer currently.

I have been strictly green team for gpus for a while because of software/drivers also. I cant stand adrenaline either.

Feel like the 9070xt build checks more boxes.

Only reason I was deciding between the 5070 and 9070xt was cause they are both $1500. 5070ti builds are a few hundred more.

shows in stock then OOS when I try to check out. with the 9700xt this was going to win over the 14900f or 9800x3d variants with the 5070, even though it is a bit more. Wish I could get this price with 64GB RAM lol

out of stock for me.

better deal than the skytech Azure 2

why?
2TB SSD vs 1TB SSD
faster RAM 6000MHz vs 5400Mhz
better video card 9700xt 16GB vs 5070 12GB
and just $26 more

but no go for me... I HATE the case on this deal

I switched from Nvidia to AMD last summer after only using Nvidia GPUs for nearly the past 15 years (upgraded from RTX 3080 to RX 9070 XT) and I've had zero issues with AMD drivers or software. Just my anecdotal experience, but I've been happy with it.

Oh im probably being silly, just a long history of issues from 2012-2015, so I switched to green team. The 9070xt went build out of stock, so that settled my issues anyway lol

I have the same thoughts, but if I were to buy this, I would swap all the parts into a different case that I already had or a case I liked better. There's some pretty good cases available for under $70. But I fully realize that might not be something everyone is capable of doing.
