$251.99-15% coupon code SHOWCASEGW or SDNEWSLETTER15 = $214.20 before tax. Just ordered this so I can't comment on how well it works, but I watched a lot of reviews and these seem like a top performer for snow shovels. This is the newer version with the directional control valve so you can shoot the snow left/right not just straight ahead. Also, from my research, this guy has a lot more power for deep snow than the wider 80v snow blower model, so for people like me that just want it for decks/sidewalks/my car hauler and don't need the extra width this seems like a much better buy.

Only one I see at Walmart for $199 is the tool only (no battery included) and it's the model without direction control (which everyone says is a huge added feature), or with a battery half the size (2ah) for $249 that is also the older/no direction control model. So yes, please post the link instead of just posting a useless comment 🤣

Yes, that's the one bad thing I saw reading up on these, with battery they are heavy at about 20lbs. Some winters we get a ton of snow though, so I'll put up with a heavy one that works in deeper snow vs a lighter one that won't budge it. Anything with comparable power to this has comparable weight (Ego one is about 1lb or so heavier).

just got this for black friday. paid $187. just used it for the first time for our first 3 inches we got this year. a workout was an understatement. its an awkward push and holding the power while trying to maneuver was difficult. they should of included an shoulder strap with it. Also we live on a hill so if you have a lot of wind -- the snow can be thrown into your face at some points. theres no directional throwing option, so the snow will always be thrown straight ahead of you. not sure if i am keeping it. for the price i paid for 80v, i believe i got a good deal but the weight of the machine was alot.

Been waiting for any kind of deal on this since I missed the last one. Hopefully I can repurpose the shoulder strap from the trimmer to make it a bit easier to haul around

This is a newer model than what you got, this has directional control to throw the snow straight/left/or right. This also has a 4ah battery, all the cheaper previous deals I see were with a 2ah. You can't control how high/far this throws it though, surprised that none of these shovels have that option. I don't have neighbors so not a problem for me, I understand people living close to other people might not love how far this throws it. Well, their neighbors might not love it I mean 🤣

Thanks for pointing that out, I was searching for deals on this type of tool but while also working. This should be a great compliment to my ariens 24". Hard to do the deck and around the cars w/ that.

This is is good for small areas, like your rear porch or a small driveway, and especially good for heavy wet snow.

The price is meh; these are usually available around $100 or less at the end of season if you plan in advance. If you need one now - it is not that bad.

The 4Ah battery is nice and it will balance the tool out. For those who think it's heavy - you do not need to lift this thing, just drag it on the ground so the weight does not matter all that match.

Cheapest I have seen the 80v was the older version with a 2ah for around $140 (there was a Woot deal for 90 but only lasted a few hours). The cheap offseason ones for 100 or less are usually the smaller ones with significantly less power. I always shopped in the summer and would watch videos of the cheap ones then not order after seeing how weak they look 😂 I have the Dewalt 20v lineup and was looking at those then found a video comparing that vs these with more power...It's night and day difference from the 20-24v to the 40v-80v models.

I got mine for $90 from AWD, 80V version with single 2Ah battery. Like I said - $214 was an OK deal but it's gone now anyways.

I bought this exact setup renewed for $290 on December 7th. I've been very happy with the purchase.

Pros:
*It chucks snow way further than I thought it would
*Even my renewed battery lasts a long time (an hour plus I think)
*Very easy to navigate with a shoulder strap once you get the hang of it

Cons:
*It won't break through heavily packed snow, so if you've driven up and down your driveway several times already, this won't totally clear it out
*It's initially a bit awkward to hold and maneuver, but once I got the hang of it, it was super easy, including gliding over those heavily packed areas
*It's quite heavy, but it won't effect you unless you have a large driveway. After using it for 1-2 hours straight, my shoulder was mildly sore, but not terrible

At this price, Is would buy all day. I paid a lot more for renewed and was happy with that price.
