Wouldn't it be great if Apple and Android got together and supported each other's trackers?

Are these better than the Insignia trackers?

Apple is the greediest company on the planet. It's no surprise that they're also the most profitable. Nobody ever seems to know this.

I would be so much likely to keep one if I could use these things cross-platform. The missed opportunity is insane. They make apple music for android. They can't release a Find My? And then also allow cross device pings for the trackers to be able to report in?

Apple is the problem here they want to keeo the eco system small and in control cant really blame them though. Android would win because of one key tool in their pocket: google maps.

No, it doesn't have UWB aka Ultra Wide Band for precise location tracking. Which if helpful for finding small items such as lost remote. If you need something for a car, backpack, or suitcase-this would work just perfect.

Of course they are - but their total addressable market skyrockets if they do it. Especially if I can buy a 4 pack, and share w. an iOS user, and use some myself. So many possibilities. I have a wallet tracker that can be used on iOS or Android - but ONLY one at a time. Someday - we'll have a unified device that can just be used on any platform - AND ping responses back from any platform. I know iOS devices are more prevalent, but being able to bounce off an Android can only help.

Someday!
