That may have been a price mistake, but eBay's Quantity Sold number is showing 80+ units sold in the timeframe. That deal thread will be interesting to follow to see if Acer ships the unit bought at the lower price or if there will be mass order cancellations.

I can't know how many of the $960 orders were cancelled, but they may be sitting on a big pile of these PCs. There will either be a price drop on these or a different deal altogether will come about.
