All of the other fans were daisy chained and were connected to CPU_FAN. This means whenever the CPU works hard, all 7 fans go to 100% (loud).
I disconnected the 3 bottom fans from the daisy chain and connected to CHA_FAN_2, 3 and 4.
I disconnected the rear fan from the daisy chain and connected to CHA_FAN_1.
I left the 3 AOI radiator fans daisy chained and connected to CPU_FAN.
In the bios, I left CPU_FAN speed at Standard with CPU temp as the source. This had them running about 600 rpm at idle. When the CPU heats up they go to max (about 1500 rpm) but are still reasonably quiet.
The other fans are a different model, and spin a little faster (and louder) at Standard (about 800 rpm). They also spin faster (and louder) at 100% power (about 2200 rpm). So I set them to manual, and lowered the idle and low temperature %s a little so they would also run at about 600 rpm at idle.
Finally, I set the source for all of these other fans to Motherboard, not CPU. That way they will only speed up if the whole case gets warm and needs additional ventilation.
- Ryzen 9 7900x doesn't even support DDR4 ram
- The timing on DDR4 is MUCH MUCH less than DDR5, which offsets the differences in speed (so no, your 6000 DDR5 is not 2x better than a 3000 DDR4 due to DDR4 being around CL16 and 6000 DDR5 being around CL36)
- Ryzen CPUs in particular like having 6000 MHz, having slower ram will hamper your CPU performance
- 5200 is like bottom of the barrel speeds for DDR5 (4800 is actual bottom of the barrel)
This is slow RAM.

I think the Ebay Dell one is better overall right now. The RAM hurts (16 vs. 32), but PSU is 1000w vs 850w, processor is better IMO and less power draw/more efficient, and it's quiet out of the box and I don't have to mess around with cooling setup as noted in this thread which is nice but not worth $$ probably.
