This is not. There is only one "generation" of the Mic Mini. The DJI Mic and DJI Mic 2, which you're likely alluding to, are different products aimed at a different audience.


This is pretty much the regular price for the Mic Mini now without the charging case. The same set, but with the charging case, has been $79.99 for a bit now.

You can either set both up to record as stereo with one per channel, or record two mono tracks. You have options. I bought these at $150, no regrets.

For those considering, I would opt for the $79 version which includes the charge case. That case sells for over $70 on its own.

The Mic 2 and Mic 3 are more like 'generations' of each other. They are the more professional-aimed models. They have internal memory for recording without being plugged into a recording device, but can also record internally and send to an external device simultaneously.
