hmm are they really that close? my XM4 finally died on me so looking for in ear replacements but price of XM5 in hear are crazy now.
and these C700 seem to run about $100 new, so this bundle seems like a good deal?

Sorry - I was incorrect. These earbuds are a lower tier. I was thinking of the Sony WF-C510 earbuds... THOSE are nearly equivalent to the WF-XM5's if you buy foam tips to use with them (they come with silicone tips) The earbuds here have push-button controls (bad for side sleepers on pillows), worse ANC, and lower sound quality.

Description of Sony WF-C510 doesn't mention any ANC. Are you sure these are the correct ones?

Yes. The XM5 doesnt have a foldable headband and is known to break at the swivel points. I wouldnt buy this. The XM4 goes on sale under $200 frequently and is IMO a better headphone than the XM5.
