I wish you the best of luck, the last 3 Samsung TVs I've purchased all died within 3 years. I'll never buy another Samsung product, they're horrible and their support is even worse.

I debated over this vs the Samsung S90F EDU/EPP deal and ultimately went with Samsung for Q symphony. Back in the day my Panny plasmas were unparalled in picture quality, but they've been out of the TV game for so long, I was hesitant and didn't wanna deal with returning something that bulky.
I don't believe they were "out of the game", they just had stopped sales in the US. They still have a reputation for high end products and their best tv's can compete with anyone.

You are a special case, Samsung QDOLED literally are the gold standard in display tech.

Don't sleep on Panasonic, this is worlds better than the B5 and still uses an LG panel. Panasonic is the brand you buy when you don't want to have to buy a new TV for 15 years.

Unfortunate that this is only available with the bulky built-in soundbar. I feel like anyone who is seriously interested in a 77" OLED panel probably has their own sound setup.

My 2007 40" Samsung LCD TV still going strong in the basement
They had better quality back then. Manufacturing quality across the board is down

OLED is a poor choice if you want to keep the TV for 15 years.

How is the soundbar on these? I have an over the fireplace mount, built in soundbar would actually be useful rather than having it separate/floating

My sony a1e is pushing 8 years old now with no issues. It gets pretty heavy use

They do: Japanese build quality and attention to detail without Sony exorbitant pricing.

I came into this thread just to lurk and see what user experience is on this item.

But I had to respond to this comment - you are absolutely completely incorrect.

LG > SONY > Samsung

Panasonic will last that long I'd be willing to wager.
