ARV of total Grand Prize: $2,448,933.
In lieu of taking title to the HGTV® Dream Home 2026 (and the contents of the HGTV® Dream Home 2026), the Grand Prize Winner will have the option of receiving $750,000 in cash, awarded in the form of an electronic funds transfer (the "Cash Option"). If Grand Prize Winner elects to take the Cash Option, the Grand Prize Winner will still receive the Cash Prize. Total ARV of the Grand Prize is $850,000 if Grand Prize Winner selects the Cash Option in lieu of the HGTV® Dream Home 2026.

I was gonna post similar... this house is in a really nice spot this year (If you don't mind being wedged in between two busy marinas or the alligators that have been recently spotted in the lake)
Also, this is more like a two story pier, not an actual boat "dock" there is no slip to store your boat. Still nice either way.
Drives me crazy to see all the Facebook replies w people begging and praying to win the house saying they want to live in it etc. Every year. No one realizes the INSANE amount of taxes you have to pay to be able to live in it, i dont know if anyone has EVER won one of these and successfully been able to live in it?

I mean any amount of cash is great but you will prob walk away with like 300k at best after taxes which is a kick in the teeth vs being able to live in the home you just won.
