90% of these are slow and trash

it will work fine the first 1-2 x then it's slow city. They have a known reputable one that's like 30-40$ my gf got it for me once she saw me with this whack one and it taking forever to clear a arm section

For $5 I was about to jump on the deal but then I remembered that I already use my double edge shaving razor to do the same task pretty effectively.

not a great idea to use it to shave off body hair (esp. on your arm) 😀

this design has a lint catcher that comes off very easily

got the same thing from another brand and a few times i was using it, the the catcher just slid off and lint/dust got everywhere

These are ok but they get slow fast as the batteries get lower, and full sized garments take a while. If you think you want to use one I'd recommend getting a non-battery (wall plug) one, or at least rechargeable, since this is the kind of task that you do at home on your couch. It's not like you're gonna take this on the go.

Honest question, why would one buy this over one with a built-in rechargeable battery? I hate AA based devices if I can get one that is USB-C based.

This is one of those things you need to buy from reputable brand that's been selling them for a long time, can get a decent one for around $15 from Corsair that's sold in major retail stores
