This looks like a really good deal but I don't know how warranty works. Buydig seller has been around a long time but I don't know If they are authorized and how returns would work. I personally don't buy Samsung TV / monitors, I've been burned away too many times by them failing the minute they're out of warranty. Samsung phones/watches are the only thing I'll buy.

Word of warning there is a high defective rate for this model (G91SD). I rolled the dice earlier this year despite the warnings and sure enough it was DOA and I had to return it.

i bought an oled 2024 lg tv from buydig in dec 2023. it completely stopped working last month and buy dig was like thats between you and lg now. lg told me its been past the one year warranty so im SOL. after kindly escalating i got them to do a free one time repair, but with this experience id say buyer beware, if something goes wrong they dont care.

Ebay is a horrible company. If you want horrible customer service on a product that likely has QC issues, this is quite the deal.

You where the past the one year warranty. That has nothing to do with BuyDig or LG. Warranty term is clearly spelled out with the product.

Not bad. I have the 244hz version. It's a tv/gaming monitor. I have a love dislike relationship with it. Overall you will still run into games and tv apps that do not support the size monitor but manageable.

How does it likely have QC issues?

My only complaints..

144 Hz (Go for 240hz these days)
1440p (Go for 4k these days)

No Dolby Vision
No Micro HDMI / eARC / USB-C lacks charging capability
Samsung warranty is lack luster when it comes to "burn in" issues.

I am on my second day of trying out the same monitor. (The 240hz version of this listing, G93SD)
I'm feeling the same. For games, unless you specialize in a game that is made for this kind of ratio (flight sim, driving), it's going to be weird. You'll probably have to get used to running things in a window. The picture quality, smoothness, everything else about the picture is great. I do like having one continuous screen for windows, not worrying about locking one to the edge of a screen.
One other weird quirk, these have a feature called 'pixel shift'. It seems like every 15min or so the entire screen shifts by 1 pixel. This is to prevent burn in hypothetically. In practice, it makes me dizzy every time it happens, like the world has suddenly shifted.
I'm leaning towards returning and going back to my 3 screen setup with a nicer new central screen for half the price.

Samsung's warranty team deserves an award—for the best disappearing act when it's time to honor a warranty.

I have this monitor as well as the 240 Hz version. If you're a mac user and want good text quality for productivity use this one. If you want a high refresh rate, go for the 240 Hz but be aware that text will never look as good as it does on this monitor unless you use a HiDPI resolution at which point your vertical real estate is limited to 720p. The S91 on the other hand is nice and crisp at even 3840 x 1080. Ive tried multiple cables and the best option has been USB-C to DP 2.1 for the 240 Hz monitor and USB-C top DP 1.4 for the 144 Hz (this one).

As always, ymmv, but this has been my experience. I wish I could swap the 240 Hz for this one since I don't play very many games. And yes 680 is a great deal for a new 49 inch OLED monitor with a 3 year warranty.

So, you're past the 1 year manufacturer's warranty, purchased through a gray market seller, and they still agreed to repair it free of charge? Buyer beware? Sounds like you got a sweet deal. No retailer is going to help you beyond 14 days and are going to point you to the manufacturer.
