Looks like they improved the bands on these. I have two with the older nylon bands, which are fine, but can be abrasive from time to time. Great watch all the way around.

I don't know about the Weekenders, but these tick fairly audibly. Presumably they use the same movements in multiple watches, so there is a chance they are the same or similar.

This watch looks great, but to me it's pretty loud. I'm sensitive to that so it's probably just me, but it's certainly not silent.

I got two weekenders as an everyday/beater watch for my dad and I, but the tickings drove me insane at night.

I ended up modding one by lining the inside of the caseback with leftover sorbothane from a mechanical keyboard build, and I filled the cavity of the other with dielectric grease.

Personally I like the dielectric mod better even if it is a bit more messy, but both are way better than the stock high pitched tick.

Since the back of the Expedition also seems to be friction fitted I sure the same mod would work.
