Nothing against this unit but I know it's advertised for being for a computer I wouldn't think most home computers this would be sufficient for any length of runtime if the power went out.

It's to allow for graceful shutdown not really extended computing when the power is out.

IF you have a high-end pc this will just shut off when playing a game as the power draw for the gpu and cpu ramp up. You'd need one of the 1500va or more models of any decent brand. Better still just get an ecoflow or similar brand with pure sine wave with a fast ups detection system.

Doesn't seem like a great deal, price history shows this was $50 a month ago.
Staples has the newer 600VA unit for $60. Also has USB data port.

have had a few of these and they keep failing, and then not supported as a "new" updated version has come out? pretty lame. they beep incessantly with no way to silence them either.
