It taste fine. I keep waiting to see a non-zero reading or notice some difference in taste that would cause me to change the filter but I haven't reached this point yet.

I have been using it to filter the water for my humidifiers in the winter. It is still at only 003 tds after 1 years. Leaving no chalky residue on surroundings unlike using just plain NYC tap water or brita filter. This is pretty cheap consider it has 2 free filters included.

I got it for the same reason, fills our humidifiers and all our drinking water and makes it so I never have to clean mold out of the humidifiers. Filters last 6-8 months in Seattle area

We consistently consume one filter per month (2 people and 150-200 TDS tap water). Only for drinking. The only equivalent alternative I found in taste is a reverse osmosis system.

Thanks! I was initially looking at this but went with the smaller, single filter, 32-Cup dispenser @ $25 after coupon. The smaller size will fit in the fridge to prevent potential mold growth and will be chilled without using potentially unfiltered ice from an ice-maker. Also, with a dual-filter, you always have to change them as a pair ($$) since it's impossible to know if either filter has any life left or is potentially defective. They should wear evenly but the sting of buying 2 filters at a time would always make me question.

I call B.S on their integrated TDS Meter!!!
Those who get 0 - 003 after months or year of use, I'd suggest buying a quality TDS meter and check again.

Once you drink Zero water filtered water, it's hard to drink tap water -- or other bottled/filtered water -- again.

When I mix 1 cup of NYC tap water at 40 tds and 1 cup of 0 tds water , the meter is showing 20 tds. So meter is good enough.
