CCC showing it's always been $9 then sometimes jumped to $12. Back down to $9 is a FP deal? Plenty of other adaptors are around this price. Reviews aren't so stellar either.

We're on bluetooth 6.0 now? Anything to note that's different with this revision? Seemed like we were adding dozens of sub-versions to 5, kind of like the trap that USB fell into.

You need a bigger antenna, not newer version of Bluetooth most of the time.

To be fair, these products should reach to some degree a stable point that any changes are not an upgrade but they might be a side grade. And when that time occurs I'm grateful that they don't increase the version number so much

also I'm surprised that it's not compatible with linux, I wonder if it would have any way to work with my unraid server computer.

Not really, same terrible experience of slow and unreliable connections it was since BT 1.0. Slight exaggeration, but not that much of one.

If you want to build your own kernel I'm sure you could get it to work. Might be a bit before it's added to the mainline kernel.

I use a six year old phone so I can keep with wired headphones. I hate bluetooth for anything except work mouses. Although 1.0 was REALLY bad. I had a Jabra back in the day for phone calls. It was bad lol.

For those asking, 6 is supposed to be a significant upgrade in several areas. LE audio streams, lower latency, better location detection, bunch of stuff. if you genuinely use BT from your computer all that much, it's prob worth the $9 to give it a shot. just remember to disable onboard if you have windows, apparently it absolutely cannot do two BT adapters

You need to have devices (earbuds, watches, phones, etc.) that support Bluetooth 6 to take advantage of this deal.

I just returned this dongle as it wasn't working with the Oasis driver for WMR. Pretty rare use case but just fyi.
