Bought one last time on sale over the summer and it is now dead and it's only dec. Didn't even last 6 months! It overheats within 2 minutes now and then shuts down completely then turns on again and the cycle continues. Buy a different brand. I just got a different brand yesterday to replace this one.

I have 3 different brands in my other 3 cars and all have lasted and are still going strong 5-10 years later fyi

Yes. I have a similar one in a 2005 Toyota van and it works pretty well. It even has a built-in mic so I can make phone calls over the speakers.
