This is a legit question and would appreciate the feedback. This movie is 47 years old. How does 4k look compared to let's say a DVD? I was watching Scarface on Netflix in HD and it looks so grainy. These two films are roughly the same again.

So, this is actually the Don Siegel version, which was 1956 and is black and white.
My favorite is the one I think you're thinking of, with Sutherland.

That said, this version was a full 4k scan of the original, but there were some blemishes and damage they couldn't get rid of. So whether seeing it in 4K is a must....meh.

But the 1978 version is a different story. Very well done 4K, and is the one I own.
