Delta gift cards are the worst. It took me 6 years to use the last ones. So many restrictions. They are NOT like cash and delta does not treat them as such. Never again.

I've used gift cards.com before for other gift cards. a bit of savings is nice, but credit card protections wouldn't apply to tickets bought using gift cards

Good point, which got me wondering: if you part most of a ticket with delta giftcards and some of it with a credit card, you still get the protections, alomg with the CC perks if any (e.g. free lugage with delta credit cards, etc.), am I wrong?

I'm not saying the customer service probably is horrible, especially if something goes wrong, but they are definitely legitimate, owned by Blackhawk which is a huge gift card servicing company.

It'll take the whole amount unless your ticket/cost price is less than your total giftcard amount.

I was about to book travel on Delta when I saw this deal. So I ordered up multiple gift cards sufficient to cover my travel. Now I am stuck "waiting for review" of my "instant" gift card order and can't book the travel. Hmmm.

I just did this (but only $1,250 worth of gift cards). I'll let you know how it goes. My first problem is their "instant delivery" egift card order is "under review," and can take 24 hours. Trying to book travel now.

Sometimes. Sometimes it's cheaper to get delta tickets on other sites. Can't use it then. If you got a certificate...can't use it then... using some miles? Nope can't use it... on and on and on

Disputed charges would only be up to the total amount charged on the credit card
