A few things you should know:
Canon software is awful, just awful, at least for Windows.
This uses 75 toner, which is expensive and gets few pages. A full set of new toner costs more than the printer.
Scanning is single-sided.

Toner cost is more than cost of the printer. Just buy a couple at this price and keep the toner and flip one printer.

Nope. You gotta go for previous generation for that, something from mf65* series... like mf654 or mf656

Yea, if you follow the OP's instructions it comes up. Trying to decide if it is worth it though...

Seriously. A set of replacement cartridges is more than the printer initial cost.

Does this printer require location in order to function. I found out an Epson current gen printer that I bought a Costco required location in order to work?
Not sure if all current gen printers are like that.
Thank you SD fam for your help.

Have this and it's been a great printer so far for the few times I needed to print. I've used the scanner on it more than anything. I paid $279 in 2023

I keep reading more bad things about HP and Canon than the other printers. At the same time I'm in the market for a printer so I guess I'll have to research this one.
