I think this is important to repeat.

You don't need the "transceiver" to fly the Neo 2 using your phone but if one day you want to use one of the remotes and the googles, you need to buy that those equipments PLUS you will need one small piece called a "transceiver" that attaches to the back of the Neo 2 and is sold separately if you buy this package (other more expensive Neo2 packages include the transceiver inside the box).

The transceiver is not easy to find and when you do manage to find an authentic one (not a fake), they're pretty expensive avg $75.

Just buy from some of the high ranked ebay sellers out of korea or japan. I got mine in 4 days to US no hickups.

They are more like knockoffs and from what I have seen, they are accurately labeled as "non-OEM" and I have no idea how well they work. If your ad says OEM or original or DJI then you are likely to get the real thing.

There should not be any restrictions on the Neo drones since they all have FCC so until that is revoked, we should be fine. Hardly any DJI drone is getting parts and repair in the US today so that won't change even after Dec.

I bought my first one from eBay. The purchase from Amazon is for those who have Amazon credits piling up and need to use them, those who enjoy 5% Amazon discounts, anyone who wants to buy the Amazon-provided insurance rather than the eBay provided-insurance and anyone who wants the convenience of easily returning the drone right down the street instead of mailing it back to Asia in case the drone arrives DOA. This is my 2nd NEO2 purchase and I have no problem waiting. Otherwise I agree with you, eBay is the preferred way.

This is annoying because it happened with Govee for me. I just made a new order and it's shipping faster. When you have to do a new order in order to get a discount or faster shipping, something is really wrong. Amazon has gone downhill.

I'm still waiting for DVDs and marshmallows I ordered on Amazon in November that still haven't shipped and aren't supposed to arrive until this weekend. I'm not sure what happened to Amazon but long wait times has become normal for many products.

If I erroniously thought the same, I would lower my prices as well in an attempt to make sure I have zero DJI drones in stock on Dec 24 particularly if 100% of my sales were to Americans.

DJI website states that what happens after 12/23 is unknown. They also state it is possible all DJI products (not just drones) could be banned from being sold.

Yep, you are correct, my bad. I edited the original post. Also some guy tested it on youtube and the drone was able to fly 300m away in the open controlled by phone (with the antennas). It's actually pretty good.

DJI only speaks for themselves and not for the hundreds of merchants, retailers, and sellers all over the world that sell to Americans. DJI has zero control over that. DJI has already stopped selling drones to the US, why would you believe they have anything to say about what everybody will eventually do? Bottom line is DJI doesn't know what they are talking about (they are confused) and instead of referencing an old article with political wording there is a more recent interview with someone from DJI and he does NOT say this aloud.

I don't depend on DJI to tell me what's going on in my own country. Why would I believe them when they won't even say what's going on in their own company?
