are these ultra thin? I was at a store recently and felt some decently nice ones but there are so many diff models it's hard to tell. They were more than double this $

yeah, I have one from previous years and these are fairly lightweight. They work well when doing sports, running, etc because one warms up fairly quickly. But for casual use its more of a light layer think long sleeve outer shirt. Perfect for an airplane or on a cool morning. Not super warm like a puffy or anything like that
