Nonstick works great at first (no oil needed, easy cleanup), lightweight, and heats quick. good for casual cooking. Just heads up: lids/handles get hot, avoid high heat/metal utensils, and coating might wear out after heavy use. Good starter set if you're not going hardcore!

These are surprisingly good. Unfortunately it doesnt come with their square Deep Fryer like their previous sets used to.

I ordered one, thanks. I was really looking for nonForeverchemicals ceramic with detachable handles to wash easier and store better. Have pans without the bolts in the cooking area would be nice I think. Tfal burned me with what I was going for and then had the chemicals listed on the box when they got here despite the info online.

These are just a notch better than garage sell pots and pans. We religiously used plastic and wood in these and they were so scratched up that we got rid of them as it was coming off in the food. We had them 3 years for context.

Don't make fun of garage sale pots and pans. My mother-in-law bought me a set of pots and pans at a garage sale and that was 30+ years ago. All stainless steel. I am still using them almost every day. Not non-stick but easy to take care.

I also have one Gotham steel pot. Mine is square and deeper than the one in the photo. It's a pretty good pot. Things don't stuck and easy to clean. Make sure to not use sharp metal cooking tools when using these pots to prevent scratching.

Check out Caraway and MadeIn; both have non-stick/non-toxic pans that are amazing. The Caraway ones are the best I've ever used. They are very easy to cook with and simple to clean.

Yeah, ceramic kind of sucks at the moment. It's going to take a little bit of time to figure out non-stick without forever chemicals.

In the meantime, I bought Misen nitrided carbon steel tri-ply pans. They work great even if they aren't exactly the same as a teflon pan. At least carbon steal will last forever.

Mine wore out even with light use in less than 6 months. Bad buy IMO.
