I still use my M1 air with 8 GB. I keep many tabs open and I don't have an issue.

Although, I'm not a "content creator" or "influencer".

We have folks at work with 8gb MacBook Air machines. Never had a single complaint. For daily office tasks, it's surprisingly decent. I'd buy this in a heartbeat for a mom/dad/grandparent.

Just my personal feedback: I have been using my M2 air for years with 8gb - and it holds up well for 15+ tabs on chrome with slack and excel being utilized at the same time.
