This 750 watt MSI MAG A750GLS is a quiet, modern ATX 3.0 style power supply with a native 12VHPWR connector, and it has been running a 7800X3D and 5070 Ti without needing an adapter. The newer 135 millimeter fan is described as much improved over the older GL version, and the unit can stay nearly silent at light load. The main drawbacks are sparse cable inclusion, with only two SATA and Molex cables and a single CPU power cable, plus reports of a grinding fan noise when startup does occur. The rebate process also appears finicky, so it suits builds that value low noise and current GPU support more than extra cabling.
Builders running a modern gaming GPU with native 12VHPWR, because it powers a 7800X3D and 5070 Ti quietly without needing an adapter.
It includes only 2 SATA/Molex cables, so drive-heavy builds may need splitters or a different PSU. That is less flexible than many 750W units that ship with 3 or 4 drive cables.
The newer GLS uses a different 135mm fan and is reported to be quieter, with the fan often not spinning at all under light load. The older GL line had premature fan failures and grinding noise when the fan started, so the GLS is the safer pick if fan reliability matters.
The Steam reward requires the 3-digit CHK code printed on the PSU label. The $10 mail-in rebate uses the MSI promotion page at msi.rebateaccess.com/promotion.php?p=96068.
Yes, it can power a 7800X3D plus a 5070 Ti using the native 12VHPWR connector, avoiding the adapter from two PCIe power cables. That makes cable management simpler for newer NVIDIA cards.
OP is incorrect, the MEG and MPG line are tier A the MAG are tier C FYI.
I'm on my third MAG A750GL with the first two having premature fan failures. This 750GLS actually uses a different fan(135mm) so maybe that's a non issue.

Okay, thanks for the updated sheet. I'm glad it at least acknowledges the fans on the GL are crap and seemingly improved on the newer GLS at least 750 and above.
It's on 2 cables, which is less flexible.
As far as I can tell, most other 750W PSUs have 3 or 4 drive cables.
One exception I know of is Corsair RM750e.
My Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 V3 comes with 3 sockets for SATA but only 2 cables. Looks like a cost cutting for PSUs in that price segment, it's annoying but if price is good it's hard to justify paying even a $10 more for a PSU with extra cable.

I got this for the same price in the last deal. It's working fine powering my 7800x3d and 5070 Ti with native 12VHPWR connector. It's nice not having to use the 12VHPWR adapter from two PCIe power cables I had previously. The fan basically doesn't turn on, so it's quiet. And if it ever does turn on it's an upgraded fan/curve from the one in the GL with a design emphasize on low noise operation.
Negatives are that it's pretty light, which may not be a real quality concern, and that the accompanying cable inclusions are sparse. On my B650 motherboard I had to use a single cable to plug in the 8 and 4 pin cpu power. They only included 2 daisy chained 8(4+4) pin connectors on the one cable for cpu power. Nothing else can split to 4 pins. There is no second seperate 8 pin for motherboards that have 2 8 pin cpu power headers. You can either connect one cpu power or daisy chain for both headers. I haven't seen only a single cable provided for this before.
Also, this may come from not having bought a new standard PSU in the last 5+ years but the cables are not jacketed. They are stranded wire with lightly embossed insulation. They come with small plastic spreader clips that can be used to make the cable runs lay flat. I tried to use a couple and it seemed more trouble that it was worth. The wires don't all snap into them consistently, some are thinner and some are larger in diameters so the clips get finicky. You could make it work if you were very inclined, but it seemed more hassle than it was worth with this particular clips/cables combination.
Based on the review ratings I've seen and for the money (rebate and Steam gift card), it's hard to pass on if you're looking for a new PSU with these features. If you do pick one up make sure to note the 3-digit CHK code on the label attached to the physical PSU. It's required to register and get the Steam reward.

Can you recommend a 750-850 psu for a unraid server that has enough sata cables for 20-30 hard drives?
Seasonic Prime[seasonic.com] PX-850 comes with 6 outputs. Though only 3 SATA cables in the package, with a total of 10 connectors, and a few more Molex cables.
But I never paid too much attention because it's not something I'm after, so no idea what's in the market.
I'm guessing people would usually use splitters?
No idea what's the max beyond which it would be a bad idea.
Ordered this PSU, mine makes very annoying grinding noise for 10-15 seconds when fan starts. MSI store don't offer exchanges so most likely I will return it.
I can't create a account with the Samsung browser. I give up. It's frustrating that these sites have to make it so complex to create an account. You are losing business.
