These are awful. I bought it from Marshall's and within a couple months, the top rim came off as it's just glued on to the silicone base.

In my experience, these silicone-based strainers get dirty and nasty REALLY quickly, and its tricky to clean. Get some sort of metal strainer that is easily cleanable in a dishwasher.

Agree. I use the stainless steel mesh ones. You can throw them in the dishwasher and sit flatter on the sink.

why would you not want a metal basket on these? Strainers do the dirty work, and you often have to hit them against your trash can to empty them. If this were OXO, I would have faith in their warranty and design, but otherwise, this is one of those "get a cheap metal one from some Temu-clone" and call it a day.

I was about to post the exact same thing 😂
They also clog like crazy. I switched to the SinkShroom and haven't looked back, the performance of that thing is amazing, never had it clog once even with a sink full of rice

Fully agree! I have these. Was doing dishes last night and looked at this strainer/filter, and the silicone was completely gunked up, including the holes. Just really nasty. Gotta go with all metal if possible.
