That's not true. These things can melt the plastic, they can spark when they rupture, they can cause electrical problems that cook gear. They also can cause connected devices to have fire hazards.

It's true to say that the risk is significantly lower than a lithium battery. But not zero.

UL doesn't certify stuff that is "no risk" - that would be silly.

Any charger brand that goes out of its way to mimic the non-functional design cues of the Samsung chargers deserves to be avoided. The deception is intentional, likelihood of confusion is high, and none of this is the result of some natural requirement of charger design. Note that Super Fast Charging is a Samsung-specific marketing terminology.
